A native Houstonian through and through, Damaris Salazar is an instructor,performer and choreographer from Houston, Texas. She started dancing at the age of 11 and is currently in her second season as a Clutch City Dancer for the Houston Rockets. She’s acquired versatility in all styles of dance from ballet, hip-hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Strict technique training and more . With roots in performative and competitive dance, she’s taught at various studios in the metropolitan area. Damaris is a proud member of the 713 Crew, a hip hop company . They recently represented Houston in the Dancechella 2023 competition in Gold Coast, Australia.  She has participated in various creative videos and as well as choreographed/directed some on her own. She continues to train excessively in various styles, which has led her to become a well rounded, educated teacher/choreographer/performer.
