Lizzy Woodson graduated from the University of Houston with her BFA in Dance and is currently a graduate student working towards her MFA in Dance at the Universtiy of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.Woodson is a principal dancer for Mezclada Dance Company, and has guest danced for many companies in the surrounding Houston area such as 6 Degrees Dance, Psophonia Dance Company, Noblemotion, and was an active member of the University of Houston Dance Ensemble. Woodson works with her husband as the Assistant Artistic Director of Mezclada Dance Company, is a seasoned instructor and teaches at several dance studios in the greater Houston area, was previously the head director for the Crosby Middle School dance program, and also enjoys teaching group fitness at Lifetime Lake Houston. Woodson’s work has been showcased at Houston’s Mind The Gap 12.0, Barnstorm Dance Festival, Dancemakers and Upstart at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and was chosen for ACDA’S formal showcase in 2018.
